CID

The Rail Freight Corridor North Sea - Baltic draws up, regularly updates and publishes a Corridor Information Document (CID). The CID is divided into four sections to clarify the specificity and independence of the key content of the document, and to facilitate the organisation and updating of the information. The Corridors together with RNE developed harmonised texts for all Corridors valid for the Section 1, Section 2, Section 3 and Section 4.

The four sections of the CID are as follows:

Section 1 - Generalities

Shows the way the Rail Freight Corridor North-Sea Baltic  is organized and provides an overview of the information in the CID.

Section 2 - Network Statement Excerpts

Provides relevant information of the network statements regarding the eight countries involved in the Corridor.

Section 3 - Terminal Description

Provides key information regarding the terminals that are part of the Corridor.

Section 4 - Procedures for Capacity and Traffic Management

Provides all the information about the rules and procedures inherent to capacity and traffic and performance management, namely the priority rules for the capacity allocation.

Implementation Plan

Presents the strategic objectives pursued by the Corridor, the chief measures taken to set up by the Rail Freight Corridor North-Sea Baltic.

The CID is a single document and therefore all four sections should be considered as integrated. However, the four sections may have different updating needs.
